CITY & COUNTY GOVERNMENT RESOURCES

Involvement in the County Government is similar to that of the State Legislature. Get to know the elected and appointed officials and who their key staff members are. Introduce yourself and help them to understand your business and the impacts of proposed ordinances. Meet with them periodically and keep the lines of communication open. Most City & County Councils meet year round.
